Tool Time

Pardon me while I have a bit of a Tim Allen moment. TOOLS! Lots and lots of brute force man toys. There is an upside to home renovations, and that is the justification for all kinds of tools.

Wallpaper stripping, that needs a steamer. Actually thats a good buy as the little Bosch unit we got cost less than 2 days of rental, and has done just as good as a so called professional model would. In the end even if we work it to death it will have more than paid for itself.

Walls are all brick so that means a big powerful hammer drill to replace my more sedate Black & Decker cordless.

2" thick layers of paint on all the wood trim, well I just had to have a new heat gun. :-)

I will need a nice mitre saw for cutting all that new coving and skirting board. I think I'm also going to need a reciprocating saw at some point for cutting holes where I need new power outlets and light switches.

To hell with the renovations. I'm just going to keep buying tools. More Power!!
